About You:

You’re a passionate and experienced Internal Communications Manager who will play a critical role in the creation, implementation, and assessment of company-wide internal communications programs, campaigns and events. In this role, you will help define Convoy’s communication architecture and help implement a company-wide cultural vision. You will work closely with Convoy executives and partner with employees across multiple departments to help our employees feel connected to Convoy’s mission, vision, values and to one another.

You will take ownership of:

• Driving employee experience at Convoy.
• Developing a comprehensive communication plan that articulates clear objectives, key messages and a calendar of memorable and engaging employee events and activities.
• Using multiple internal channels such as Wiki, email, events, and Slack to communicate with employees in ways that advance the company’s mission, culture, and brand.
• Developing best practices and procedures to guide consistent and quality communications across all teams and locations.
• Running Convoy’s regular company-wide all-hands meeting, executing a vision driven by leadership and curating and scheduling engaging content.
• Helping executives’ work remain accessible and visible by partnering to create, distribute, and curate executive messages, updates, and presentations to internal audiences.
• Innovating, measuring success, and iterating.

You have the following skills and experience:

• 6+ years of internal/employee communication, marketing communications, product marketing, or related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and editing skills.
• A demonstrated ability to measure the effectiveness of your communications efforts.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality and judgment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• A track record of using traditional and emerging communication tools and technologies.
• Experience working closely and communicating effectively with executives.
• Ability to influence and align partners and define clear goals and progress.
• Experience planning and executing communications at a large scale across multiple offices (e.g., rolling out a new tool or technology, leadership/change management/organizational changes, M&A).
