We are looking to develop our international strategy, uncover opportunities, execute flawlessly and turn the international business into a growth engine for Blue Nile. Blue Nile is looking for an International Digital Marketing Specialist – focused on Paid Search and Social, to drive International brand awareness, qualified traffic, revenue and new customers. This position requires a strong online marketing background, data driven and analytical thinking, excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

 Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth in the International business (non-US, non-China) by optimizing and innovating our paid search and social campaigns
  • Partner with the digital marketing team to execute paid media programs with the right level of local customizations and optimization for the individual markets
  • Monitor and analyze international paid search and social campaigns and make regular, proactive changes to improve performance
  • Implement bid strategies, effectively manage budgets, test ad copy and landing pages
  • Refine, organize and optimize existing Blue Nile campaigns
  • Own metrics and reporting, including the use of statistical approaches to analyze, track and communicate results
  • Work with marketing vendors and agencies as needed to develop, expand and grow search and social platforms
  • Engage and collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising teams to plan promotional campaigns
  • Seek and support new advertising opportunities to help build awareness
  • Identify and implement frequent tests to find optimal ways to balance portfolio and International digital ad mix to improve profitability as well as to find innovative ways to grow programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience in paid search and social
  • Experience with retail commerce and international markets, strongly preferred
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Highly organized, detail-orientation, required
  • Proficient in MS Office – specifically Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot tables), PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key
  • Data-driven digital marketer, strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
  • Data sleuth - SQL experience strongly preferred (e.g., data source identification, feasibility of joins, determines data reasonableness based on business insight)
  • Experience with vendor / agency management, preferred
  • Positive, resilient attitude
