About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager reporting to our Senior Manager, Digital Marketing.
This role is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and contribute to a world-class marketing strategy.The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will build and manage our lead nurturing and re-engagement programs across digital ads, email, direct mail, chatbots, etc. and deliver content that delights our prospects and customers to drive conversion and revenue. In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to build the overall nurture strategy from scratch.

What you’ll do
- Nurture Program Management: Build and manage sophisticated nurture programs for leads and customers in various segments and stages of our funnel.
- Teamwork: Collaborate on content strategy and drive the content creation process, working cross-functionally with our copywriters and design team to move projects forward.
- Reporting: Regularly report on key lifecycle marketing KPIs and campaign performance, making recommendations on how to take the program to the next level.
- Process Improvement and Creation: Establish a rigorous AB testing agenda to test messaging, subject lines, CTAs, content, email cadence and timing to constantly improve performance.
- Partnership: Partner with a number of cross functional teams to uncover customer insights that drive better decision making and put our customers first.
- Email Marketing: Lead and be the email marketing expert for nurtures, but also be able to batch emails for campaigns from the Marketing team.
What you’ll bring
- Preferred experience: 2-5 years experience in lifecycle email marketing, with a minimum of 5 years total work experience
- Technical Skills: Advanced skills in marketing automation software, preferably Marketo or Eloqua; continuous appetite for learning new technologies and applying them in creative ways
- Written communication: A knack for writing or collaborating on great copy. Subject lines are your jam.
- Innovative: Proactive and creative; interested in building systems not yet in place and continuously improving the way we do things.
- Analytical: Strong analytical ability with a test and learn mentality. Intense curiosity about data and the insights it holds about our customers.
Colorado applicants only: The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $98,000. The total compensation package also includes benefits (as further detailed below) as well as unit-based compensation if applicable. Compensation for other locations may vary.*
