As a Marketing Automation and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for owning all aspects of marketing automation and operations for our growing global marketing team. If you are looking for an opportunity to scale a global Marketo instance in a fast-paced marketing organization, this is the role for you. This position requires a candidate with extensive experience in executing successful global marketing automation campaigns in a Marketo-Salesforce shop.
      
In the Marketing Automation and Operations Manager role you will:

  • Act as our Marketo Admin; manage the Marketo relationship and annual contract renewal.
     
  • Serve as Ekata’s marketing automation and marketing operations experts. Stay up-to-date on best practices, platform updates, analysis, and marketing trends.
     
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create, implement, and improve marketing campaigns through data analysis, segmentation, and automation to ensure the highest standards of performance for our global digital marketing efforts.
     
  • Create, implement, and manage a self-serve Marketo instance for marketing managers; develop master program templates, participate in email bar raiser program, document processes, and lead trainings.
     
  • Assist corporate and field marketing teams with the build of complex marketing automation campaigns.
     
  • Manage syncing of data between organizations CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tool (Marketo) and other online tools.
     
  • Help manage other tools in our marketing tech stack; make recommendations for additional tools.

Our ideal Marketing Automation and Operations Manager will have:

  • Advanced experience working with Marketo and Salesforce.com.
     
  • Deep knowledge of business-to-business marketing methods (specifically email marketing), tools and strategies; ability to execute marketing automation campaigns that drive engagement, registration and launch.
     
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate credible forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
     
  • High proficiency in Marketo and other marketing automation systems and integrating those systems with other technologies.
     
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing required or equivalent experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
     
  • 5-7+ years hands-on marketing automation experience in Marketo.
  • Marketo Certified Expert preferred, but not required.
