Job Overview
The Marketing Coordinator, Events role is responsible for managing PitchBook’s partner relationships and working to determine ways in which PitchBook’s brand can become more integrated with each organization. This role will work closely with external partners to fulfill agreements and manage deliverables for the custom conference application used at 25+ partner conferences per year. Important to this role, is the ability to work effectively across various internal teams – sales, customer success, demand generation, product marketing and the communications team to build a cohesive approach to our partnership and conference strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage a US conference strategy designed to drive lead generation and strengthen our brand position
  • Coordinate with partners and internal teams to fulfill partnership contracts
  • Build and maintain each custom conference app, troubleshoot and support as needed
  • Set-up Marketo campaigns to support the conference app
  • Schedule partner advertisements in PitchBook editorial content, maintain Salesforce and external event calendar
  • Fulfill PitchBook Platform partner requests – custom lists, analyst cases, marketing content
  • Manage communication between sales and customer success to ensure effective event staffing, preparation and training
  • Maintain event lead follow up processes, tracking and reporting using Salesforce and Marketo
  • Coordinate on-site event needs – printing, giveaways, signage

Basic Qualifications

  • A True Team Player. Ability to work productively across diverse teams in rapidly changing situations. Partnership and collaboration is a fundamental requirement
  • Relentlessly High Standards. Demonstrated ability to create successful marketing-driven event programs. Dependable and able to work without significant supervision
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities. Detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Excellent Communication. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Technically Savvy. Experience with Marketo or other similar marketing automation programs preferred. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience (B2B tech experience preferred).
  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS)
