ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Marketing Data & Insights Manager, you'll help us tell a story by using data: what's happening in our pipeline? Why did it happen, and what can we do better? Use your excellent communication skills to give direct reports to the leadership team. In addition, you will work in close collaboration with our Marketo architect to optimize and scale our instance over time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (Marketo, Engagio, Demandbase, Salesforce, others) used to generate, distribute, and report on marketing results
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing activities, effectiveness, and business impact for CMO
  • Analyze marketing data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance
  • Contributes to data mapping and standardization while maintaining data integrity
  • Communicates technical information and data in a user-friendly manner
  • Works closely with BI team to support marketing and company reporting needs and consistency
  • Provides strategic insight to marketing team based on internal data in order to optimize initiatives and ROI

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a process-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving and technical aptitude. Demonstrated time and project management abilities are critical skills for this role, especially an ability to manage complex projects with a lot of moving parts. Our ideal candidate should be naturally curious to test, measure, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of related marketing and marketing automation experience
  • Marketo architecture, data, process, and best practices
  • Data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence with an emphasis on marketing analytics
  • Salesforce working knowledge
  • Marketo and Salesforce platform integration
  • Email marketing best practices with campaign structure and management
  • Contact or lead database management (segmentation, reporting, and maintenance)
  • Inbound/outbound marketing tactics as it relates to marketing automation
  • Bachelor’s Degree

 PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Previous SFDC admin
  • Experience building out customer marketing workflows
  • Experience with ABM
  • Experience implementing multi-touch attribution
  • Basic HTML
  • 2+ years of Marketo admin experience
  • Marketo Certified Expert
