Position

LiquidPlanner is poised to accelerate growth and looking for a SaaS-savvy, marketing generalist to lead the way. If you are an enthusiastic and collaborative leader with the ability to balance big-picture thinking to craft a strategy with data-driven, tactical execution, we have the perfect job for you!

The Head of Marketing will define and execute the company’s marketing strategy, and oversee the overall marketing function. This role is the primary influencer of brand development and voice. Technical acumen, social and digital media competence plus capacity for innovative insights are needed. An entrepreneurial, hands on, growth hacking marketer focused on enabling sales success, passionate about the customer experience and committed to winning as a team will find success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing strategy - Create and implement a comprehensive plan to support a successful new product launch, enhance brand and generate revenue.
  • Brand - Develop a clear brand strategy, including design, position and awareness.
  • Social Media - Direct programs to improve product recognition and reputation.
  • Communications - Plan, develop and implement effective campaigns.
  • Sales Support:
    • Collateral - Develop and manage all collateral including blogs, articles, emails, presentations, customer testimonials, hard-copy materials and websites.
    • Campaigns – Ideate with colleagues to create and execute effective prospect and revenue generation programs.
  • Demand Generation - Drive potential customers to the website through SEM, SEO, display retargeting and social advertising.
    • Skilled in driving traffic to websites, landing pages, social media and apps
    • Understanding conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles, tactics and hacks to drive awareness, trial starts and viable prospects to engage.
  • Data - Measure & report on return on investments including impressions and conversion.
  • Website - Manage website, e-mail and other customer facing mediums.
  • Budget - Practice fiscal responsibility with wise and justified management of resources.
  • Lead - Clearly define marketing objectives holding self and team accountable for results

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • SaaS product launch experience - Owned or was part of a team that executed a successful go-to market campaign.
  • 7 or more years of small company and/or agency marketing generalist experience with tangible successes.
  • A/B Testing and data / marketing analytics experience.
  • Content and editing skills and experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-driven culture.
  • Have a startup mindset. Curious and creative, with the drive and skill to execute across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Data driven and have a clear understading of analytics, metrics and statitstics. 
  • Passion for both building and executing systems and processes from the ground up.
  • Flexibility and eagerness to be part of a rapidly growing and evolving company.

Location

Our office is located in Eastlake (in Seattle) with multiple restaurants + bars. We overlook Lake Union and have great views of the Space Needle!
