Avvo is looking for an experienced results-driven marketer to help create and manage our email program. You are passionate about email marketing and have a proven track record of developing and implementing a successful email strategy end-to-end, both automated and ad-hoc. You are a motivated self-starter and team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable challenging the status quo to deliver incremental value.

Day to day tasks includes working across teams and business units to improve the efficacy of our email communications, overseeing flawless email strategy, creation, deployment, deliverability, testing, and analysis.

What you will do in this role:

  • Develop, implement and optimize our email programs.
  • Manage the daily set-up of ad hoc and automated email campaigns including creating and editing email templates, manage targeting and segmentation, scheduling, editing, and deployment to drive program adoption at scale.
  • Manage the email campaign process from start to finish including planning, conceptualization, content creation, creative development, set-up, review, QA, deployment and reporting
  • Develop and execute a thoughtful Test & Learn program
  • Proactively track, monitor, analyze and optimize campaign performance
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to create marketing campaigns
  • Continuously track and communicate performance and learnings.
  • Keep all relevant stakeholders updated and aware of upcoming initiatives and performance of active campaigns
  • Stay up on new technologies and best practices and make recommendations to create efficiencies and improve results where appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 4 years of related experience with marketing or specific channel (Brand, Customer Acquisition, Lifecycle)
  • Experienced with Excel and manual data analysis
  • Experience in high paced, high volume multitasking role and environments
  • Excellent communication (verbal/non-verbal skills)
  • Understanding of HTML and ability to troubleshoot coding and rendering issues
  • Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to quickly troubleshoot and analyze work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable creating content that will be published across various mediums (blogs, email, or landing pages)
  • Experience with A/B and multi-variant content testing.
  • Experience working with email service providers such as Salesforce, ExactTarget or Pardot
  • Experience with Google Analytics
