Who we're looking for

As a Shiftboard Marketing Manager, you will lead sales enablement and customer marketing initiatives to maximize demand and product adoption of Shiftboard. This is a diverse and fast-paced role in which you will be working closely with sales, customer success, and your marketing colleagues. The ideal candidate will excel at curating compelling content, demonstrate a knack for SaaS marketing, and possess excellent communication skills. This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing.

What you'll do

Sales enablement focused

  • Develop a variety of prospect and customer-facing content for use by marketing and sales
  • Create and drive marketing programs such as prospecting campaigns, lead nurture campaigns, and upsell programs
  • Serve as the go-to resource for the sales team providing presentation materials, support in reviewing sales proposals, completing RFIs, etc.
  • Plan, develop and execute programs to build the sales team skills and knowledge needed to successfully engage customers and prospects

Product marketing focused

  • Apply product messaging and positioning based on an understanding of use cases, customer requirements, competitors, and knowledge of Shiftboard solutions
  • Build and maintain high-quality buyer and user personas and journey maps across key segments
  • Manage product launches driving readiness and successful rollouts
  • Perform competitive and market analysis, and translate analysis into strategic insight Shiftboard can leverage
  • Serve as a product evangelist for marketing efforts via webinars, blog articles, and events to generate market awareness and interest in Shiftboard solutions

Customer marketing focused

  • Develop and implement customer-base focused marketing programs to drive usage, adoption, and expansion of Shiftboard solutions
  • Support the creation of a variety of customer enablement content, including video, guides, and one-sheets, in partnership with the customer success team
  • Lead marketing efforts surrounding Shiftboard University – our education programs for customers

Qualifications and skills you'll need

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a product marketing, sales enablement, or content marketing role
  • Degree in marketing or related field
  • Extensive content development experience
  • Strong market and competitive research skills
  • Experience with go-to-market strategy and execution
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Results oriented with a can-do attitude
  • B2B SaaS experience preferred
