Role Description

As a Marketing Architect this role would be crucial in defining capability and technology strategy for marketing business, the role would involve

  • Partnering with business leadership to identify requirements and establish a clear, consistent capability vision as well as supporting technology vision through collaboration, influence, and enablement.
  • Create and own future state solution architecture of the marketing technologies aligned with industry evolution and Dropbox landscape
  • Proactively research new vendors, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure that individual technical solutions align with overall architectural vision
  • Craft guidance that helps delivery teams identify quality risk factors around security and compliance
  • Effectively communicating complex technical solutions through excellent written and verbal skills to business stakeholders
  • Develop technology roadmaps that consider both tactical and strategic direction, as well as factor in cost, user experience and security.
  • Provide technical due diligence of software products and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of experience working within a marketing environment,  MarTech stack
  • In-Depth understanding of the Digital Marketing landscape, Web technologies (AEM preferred) and experience with technologies like Web Analytics, CRM, Marketing Automation, Campaign Management, Search, MMP, Ad Servers, DMPs, DSPs, Audience Creation/Targeting
  • Experience driving technical workshops with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership to technical resources, working with PM on suggested work assignments and leading team from design to solution
  • Partner with vendor teams to conduct business and technical discovery with customers
  • Present your proposals to executive-level customers in a clear and compelling way

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing technologies
  • Hands on experience in architecture and design of marketing solutions 
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading and delivering technical implementation of complex projects

As the engineering manager for Dropbox’s international growth team, Damian Łukasik spends his days helping a team of engineers build solutions to serve the company’s customers outside of the United States and helping to grow the Poland engineering hub. While his role encompasses an array of responsibilities, Łukasik’s mission is clear across functions: to build a strong foundation for Dropbox’s international team to scale. And he knows exactly what will make that possible: a collaborative internal culture and a customer-centric approach to make the right choices as the team moves forward.

In order to be successful in our Virtual First environment we needed to make changes that would allow employees to have more control over both where and how they work. Therefore, we embrace “non-linear workdays” with defined core collaboration hours that overlap across time zones.
