Company

Intentional Futures is an idea-to-impact consultancy. We work with visionary leaders to solve hard problems that matter. Our clients are change agents who believe the world can be better than it is. We act as trusted guides and thought partners on their journeys. We are looking for a skilled marketing coordinator to manage the iF presence in the world and pitch in on client projects.

Our integrated practice combines the discipline of traditional business strategy with the creativity that fuels great design. Learning is at the center. We use a multidisciplinary approach and deep collaboration to define complex problems, develop purposeful solutions, and communicate meaningful visions.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment. We believe that having staff with diverse backgrounds allows us to better serve our clients, support one another, and fulfill our mission. As an equal opportunity employer, iF considers all applications without regard to race, color, religion, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, military service eligibility, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental disability, or any other protected class. People of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ individuals are encouraged to apply.

We take leadership and training seriously and will invest in you and your goals.

What you will do:

We’re looking for someone who wants to manage a marketing program for a growing boutique consultancy. You’ll create content, manage iF promotional channels, and organize events that help our audience understand what we do best. Your role will be divided between internal marketing work and client strategy projects. The balance of the duties will vary over time.

Marketing responsibilities

  • Social media: publish a steady drumbeat of iF activities and perspectives across our channels, measure, learn, and adjust
  • Manage the iF website: editorial calendar, content creation, bug fixes, work with designers for new design elements
  • Manage iF events: iF Wine Night, iF Salon, speaking opportunities
  • Write about iF in channel-appropriate content formats
  • Thought leadership strategy and action in collaboration with our CEO and President
  • Create and maintain BD materials: pitch deck, collateral, case studies, newsletter
  • Find new ways to get iF execs, services, and names out to our target audiences. Small conferences, networking groups, etc.

Strategist responsibilities

  • Translate complex information into simple language
  • Work on collaborative project teams that value the process of understanding the problem and relish divergent, unique solutions
  • Investigate and distill large volumes of information on emerging technological, business and societal trends (for example, “the internet of things” or “literacy and learning science”)
  • Prepare and conduct interviews with subject matter experts, product creators, business leaders and/or consumers
  • Work with internal project teams to define project vision, requirements, and timelines

Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker with a strong command of the spoken and written word
  • Great storyteller
  • Marketing execution experience: social media, Google analytics, CMS, website management, content writing
  • Experience partnering with designers to express ideas simply and effectively
  • Enthusiasm for learning
  • Experience creating content that can be understood easily by multiple audiences
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Inquisitive goal-oriented self-starter

Salary and benefits

iF offers a benefits package that includes domestic partner benefits, parental and adoption leave. This position is on-site in Seattle. We do not offer a relocation package.

The salary for this role ranges from $54,000-$70,500 depending on relevant experience.
