In this exciting new position, you will help Seagull Scientific’s global HR and Marketing teams develop and implement our employer identity strategy as part of our culture and values initiatives. You will be part of the teams that develop global communications, connections and relationships both within and outside the company, raising Seagull’s profile as an employer of choice and helping to create a great candidate and employee experience through exceptional engagement. You will support our growing need to attract and retain top talent in the tech industry and to ensure that all our HR initiatives engage employees across our global organization.

As an ideal candidate, you will bring a proven track record of strategizing and building compelling content across career pages and external platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor, and a deep passion for telling stories across the social space.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging content for a variety of communication channels, including company intranet, Glassdoor and LinkedIn recruiting page — tell the stories of our organization's people, mission, vision, values and successes.
  • Leverage opportunities to engage all global Seagull employees in our employer brand efforts, converting them into true brand champions.
  • Manage global strategy, execution and publishing for our employment brand across Seagull social channels, championing our lifestyle, culture and employees across all areas of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Recruiting to create compelling employer marketing content that attracts active and passive target candidates.
  • Plan and launch an active company intranet for internal company news, information and team building. Recommend appropriate technology platforms, content cadence, style and scheduling, and manage the intranet to ensure it stays lively and engaging.
  • Assess communication needs between internal teams, and create systems, policies and procedures that transform “tribal knowledge” into socialized, shared and documented intellectual property.
  • Ensure consistent messaging that aligns with corporate objectives across all channels.
  • Develop a framework for tracking, measuring and analyzing communication effectiveness.
  • Stay attuned to trends and best practices to help inform new internal communications strategies.
  • Attain a strong understanding of our company and its culture, as well as of the broader AIDC industry.
  • Create operating practices and procedures, with ongoing evaluation to determine whether improvements can be made, and work to implement changes as appropriate. Document, track, measure, analyze and report.
  • Coordinate projects and ensure that schedules are met, and stakeholders are delighted.
  • Act as a culture advisor on the Social Committee for all employee event planning.
  • Be a strong collaborator who can also work independently to execute communication strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the business to ensure project outcomes align with company priorities and direction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable education with 3+ years of experience in Employer Brand Management, Marketing Communications, Recruitment Marketing, Social Media Management or related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and research skills, and ability to compellingly communicate the company's story.
  • Well versed in all content types including, but not limited to: short-form social posts, long-form content marketing pieces, videos, and visual storytelling through graphics and photos, with an ability to write in a creative, compelling style.
  • Deep understanding of content channels, as well as their associated audiences and platform limitations.
  • Excellent understanding of social media and analytics.
  • Experience with content management.
  • Works collaboratively and independently, is self-motivated and accountable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work towards tight deadlines.
  • Employee centric mindset, creative and innovative.
  • Project management skills, ability to manage details without losing sight of the broader picture.
  • Experience in the technology industry is desired.
