Founded in 2015, InstaReM is a cross-border payments startup. We have recently raised $41 Million in Series C funding and are in hyper-growth mode. We are looking for a driven and highly professional individual to join our Enterprise product marketing team in our Seattle office. We have created a real-time payments platform that is reshaping the way banks, enterprises, SME’s and individuals send and receive money around the world. Our technology, combined with an established network of global banking relationships enables our customers to make faster, more reliable and more cost-effective payments in over 55 countries (and growing).

Primary job responsibilities include the following:

  • Bring the customer to other teams - who are they, how they buy, and their critical buying criteria - to the rest of the organization.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
  • Understand the people, places used by buyers to get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned and conduct win/loss analysis.
  • Develop marketing plans including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Assess the effectiveness of and continuously optimize marketing programs.
  • Act as an expert for the products you support internally and externally, including documentation articles and training. Manage relationships with relevant research organizations.
  • Develop strategies for and deliver a wide range of marketing programs, including marketing communications, partnerships and earned media.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it; plan and manage our presence in key industry events around the world.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of product marketing and or product management experience and at least two years of experience with products for large enterprises and or financial institutions preferred.
  • Candidates with less experience from tier one business schools or Agency backgrounds will be considered.
  • Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is, or isn't working.
  • Must be a strong communicator, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a strong writer.
  • Ability to quickly define processes, identify best practices and raise the bar for self and the organization.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to learn about customers, lead our global event presence and support our sales teams.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties especially with globally distributed teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
