We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager who can accelerate the growth of Smartsheet's industry-focused solutions business by owning specific elements of our Solution Center/Marketplace Go-To-Market strategy. This includes Solution Center/Marketplace messaging & positioning, Solution Center/Marketplace solution development, content production, campaign planning and execution and sales enablement. This position is great for someone looking for an end to end Go-To-Market experience and the opportunity to work in an environment where moving at lightning speed and pivoting quickly based on customer feedback is a daily routine.

This role is based in Smartsheet’s corporate offices in Bellevue, WA, and reports to the Director, Solutions Product Marketing. Smartsheet is a high growth SaaS company with thousands of customer organizations and millions of users in 160 countries experiencing substantial value from the use of the innovative Smartsheet platform. Job Responsibilities:

  • Solution Center/Marketplace Industry Solutions Roadmap - Build a roadmap of Solution Center/Marketplace industry and functional solutions for the leading industry and functional opportunities for Smartsheet. The roadmap will be based on primary research, internal business intelligence, customer feedback and sales/customer success/channel partner and professional services feedback.
  • Solution Center / Marketplace Solutions Messaging & Positioning - Collaborate with sales, customer success and product teams to build industry & functional Solution Center/Marketplace solution-specific value propositions and tools leveraging the Smartsheet Marketplace, in-app Solution Center, mobile Solution Center and Solution Center for Government. Focus areas for this role include messaging and positioning documents, pitch decks, videos, customer success stories, blogs, conduct presentations, deliver demos, and develop product-specific value assessment sales tools.
  • Smartsheet Certification & Mobilizer Program Management - Partner with Smartsheet training, services, customer success, and sales team to manage the Smartsheet product and solution certification program. Additionally, manage all program logistics with the aforementioned teams to manage the Smartsheet Mobilizer program for general and line of business (e.g. IT) specific deliverables, member management, and ongoing program enhancements. 
  • Smartsheet Solutions by function and industry - Partner with Smartsheet Vertical Strategy, Channel Partner, Strategic and Commercial Sales Leadership, Professional Services and Customer Success Teams to design and build a set of compelling solutions - Templates, Template Sets or Accelerators - for each of the prioritized industry and functional segments leveraging the full capabilities of the Smartsheet Collaborative Work Management Platform. 
  • Campaign Planning & Execution - Build and execute targeted campaigns to create demand for Smartsheet’s industry solution portfolio.
  • Sales Enablement - Enable sales teams to deliver Solution Center / Marketplace value proposition, effectively deliver messaging and use marketing tools to underscore industry solution value.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated content marketing success; Minimum of 3 years experience in product marketing which includes producing and deploying content, preferably within specific enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Proven success with developing and deploying enterprise marketing content while executing with pace and precision.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across marketing and proven sales success.
  • Passion for working with emerging cloud technologies. 
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth software company where change is a constant.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience conducting actionable competitive analysis.
  • Self-starter, ability to lead innovative, entrepreneurial efforts and drive for excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and execute detailed action plans.
  • Able to function independently as well as collaboratively with Smartsheet team members.
  • Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree required.
