Product Marketing Manager
We believe that phone calls should be secure, engaging, free from fraud and robocalls. Hiya is building the modern trust and identity layer for the phone call experience. We serve more than 100M users worldwide directly through our apps and in partnership with mobile device makers like Samsung and mobile carriers like AT&T. We also serve businesses with a rapidly maturing SaaS platform designed to help call center operators, marketers and others who rely on real time connections to amplify trust in their brand to reach more customers.
We are hiring a marketing team to help build our business. The Product Marketing Manager will work with product leaders, engineers, sales and business development teams and executive leadership to create and shape our story to the market, orchestrate go to market for multiple products, and drive growth by enabling and fostering the success of our market-facing teams in the US and worldwide.
Product marketing is a critical role for a growing technology business like Hiya. Understanding features and capabilities is a starting point. The product marketer will use those and take it to the next level for our teams, the market and the broader partner ecosystem, honing and refining the value proposition and messaging so that it sings for our target audiences.
As a product marketing manager you will:
- Own the development of positioning, messaging, pricing, and core value proposition of Hiya products, working closely with thought partners in product and data science and engineering and the exec team.
- Orchestrate go to market activities across the organization and build a shared vision for introducing new products and capabilities to market.
- Develop tools and collateral for products and platform that will be widely used by the organization.
- Own the consolidated product roadmap, aligning stakeholders for individual products and capabilities to build a holistic vision for our product and solution offerings. You will bring the voice of the customer and market insights into the product planning process in a way that it becomes useful and valuable to product management and engineering. You will facilitate inputs to our product strategy process and guide decision making for what to build, and how to talk about what we do.
- Support the sales team and create product and solution tools and materials that help optimize sales performance through the customer lifecycle.
- Work with customers partner to create compelling proof points that showcase the value of Hiya. These might include case studies, customer and partner testimonials, as well as other social proof and influencer tools.
- Use data, where available, to make the best decisions for us and our partners, and when not available, use your intuition built upon your previous experiences.
You don't have to check all the boxes, but we think these are important requirements for this role:
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a product manager or product marketer.
- You have B2B SaaS and/or mobile apps/mobile carrier experience. Experience with direct sales team and strategic business development/channel teams will be helpful.
- You are undaunted by a startup environment (high ambiguity, high urgency, fast-paced, low support structure), and eager to be part of building something new and important.
- You are both analytical and creative at solving complex technology and user experience problems.
- You have exceptional English written and verbal communication skills (speaking a second language is a plus)
- You get that part of your job is to help define and create clarity where it does not currently exist
- You follow-through on initiatives, don't sacrifice the good for the great, are inclusive and decisive, and you can wear multiple hats to help us get the job done.
