Product Marketing Manager

Mason is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to be the bridge between our product and our customers. As Mason’s first product marketing hire, you’ll work with the head of marketing, to shape how we think about our target audiences, how we talk to them, and how we take our products to market.
You are someone that’s excited by competitive positioning, innovative technology, doesn’t shy away from taking center stage and talking about the products you represent! You believe in gathering market evidence to make strategic decisions, and can use this knowledge to map and drive persona insights, positioning statements and empower teams internally, and users externally.
This is a cross-functional role with a high impact potential. Your work will require you to be a master of prioritization; balancing strategic and tactical work, managing stakeholder expectations and driving thought leadership.

What you'll work on:
- The who: Be the expert on our personas. Validate our persona work and evolve ‘who’ we are talking to. Understand what makes them tick, how, when and why they buy. Champion our users!
- The why: understand our competitive landscape, help establish our positioning.
- The what: ensure ‘what’ we are saying resonates with our personas and validates our positioning. Help with sales enablement, playbooks, product launches and everything in between.
- The how: market intelligence is key! Team up with our customer advocate, sales, customer success, product and engineering to help shape our product roadmap, GTM plans and processes to scale and grow our business.
- Work across our product lines and learn and grow as we do!
What you bring to the table:
- 3+ years in product marketing
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Mobile infrastructure and/or SaaS experience is a must
- Proven track record driving successful go-to-market launches, to help with adoption and bottom line impact
- Ability to distill large amounts of information into concise and effective messaging for various audiences and segments
- Become the thought leader for mobile infrastructure enabling various verticals — write blogs, give talks, host webinars and more. Be a storyteller at heart!
Bonus points for:
- Experience with public speaking on large platforms
- Be data-driven and have experience with setting and measuring against key metrics
- Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar product analytics platforms
- Startup experience
