We are looking for a Public Relations professional to lead PR in the US. You’ll be a creative professional; excited to create an innovative approach towards strategic growth and crafting the PR function. You must be a strong collaborator who can work cross-functionally and manage people globally to grow and build teams to scale. You will partner with executives along with a wide range of internal teams and external agencies to develop and execute PR programs. As a thought leader, you will help us build cutting edge solutions and bold campaigns that set us apart within our fast-growing industry. 

What you'll do:

• Find opportunities to communicate our story by leveraging data, creator stories, product announcements, industry trends, speaking opportunities, go-to-market marketing campaigns, etc
• Identify marketing and partnership opportunities that can build the RoundGlass brand globally and locally
• Oversee all PR functions for RoundGlass including developing, budgeting, executing and managing media relations programs that support company messages, strategies, and objectives
• Stay relevant and educated by maintaining awareness of trends and developments in field, tracks and share external trends, practices and ideas
• Produce compelling news content, including press releases, blogs, and story idea pitches
• Provide global PR guidance to field teams, including the creation of materials and other content to aid international PR teams
• Oversee content creation, dissemination of press materials, and the management of media relationships
• Develop strong client relationships by providing strategic counsel, building and leading solid account teams, mentoring, motivating, growing and retaining employees and managing accounts to consistently achieve business objectives
• Partner closely with marketing and communications, senior leadership, sales, customer success and other functions
• Track and influence media coverage, report on PR campaign and program results
• Build programs and own relationships with the media and influencers to drive positive coverage and original content of RoundGlass

Who we're looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in public relations
• 5+ years of experience as a lead and mentor to a global team of marketing and public relations employees
• Strong relationships with media outlets on local and national level; proven record in delivering PR results across print, online and broadcast
• Demonstrated experience building global PR programs and campaigns that meet company goals and deliver measurable results
• Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communications and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage media, executives, and peers
• Excellent documented ability to craft press releases, media pitches, in-depth PR plans, and strategic communications materials
• Familiarity with tech and start-up environment preferred
