About The Role

We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic event marketer to join the Demand Generation team. This position is responsible for working directly on the strategy and all execution for our flagship Unleash industry conference, roadshow series and customer product events. Successful candidates will have experience with project management, production, and cross functional collaboration. You are an experienced events manager with a strong program management background, and have deep experience with managing agencies for both virtual and in-person events. You’re also someone who stays ahead of the latest experiential innovations in the industry and are comfortable with taking calculated risks in order to drive impactful experiences. This person must be incredibly detail oriented and possess impeccable communication and writing skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a detailed plan for delivering large scale Outreach flagship events including our 10,000 person Unleash industry conference, multi-city Roadshow Series, and virtual Outreach product customer events.
  • Own and execute overall logistics, sponsorships, production, staffing, creation, and internal alignment on goals.
  • Navigate and own all end-to-end operations for events & activations working closely with internal cross-functional teams such as; Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal/Compliance, Analyst Relations, as well as external partners and agencies 
  • Manage all agency coordination, vendor RFP and management, budget tracking, internal tech enablement 
  • Establish and monitor individual event budgets and ensure that event contracts, quotes, purchase orders, and invoices are prepared and approved promptly 
  • Project manage these to ensure all milestones are achieved on time and on budget before, during and after the event. Present milestones and updates for core execution team and weekly executive updates 
  • Maintain registrations sites, communications, client meetings, mobile apps, and feedback surveys
  • Conduct pre event briefs, post event reports, including but not limited to attendee surveys, analytics, and lessons learned
  • Escalate risks and issues through appropriate channels to ensure the event is delivered seamlessly
  • Act as the first point of contact with agencies, including contract negotiations, issue management and all other inquiries relating to the event 
  • Onboard and manage external agencies and partners - ensuring technical integrations and associated logistics are operating as needed 
  • Work with analytics team to summarize results, key learnings and business impact(s) of events and activations, as well as create dashboards /reports to share event progress for stakeholders
  • Create processes to drive effective and streamlined decision making 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 6+ years’ experience in leading physical/virtual events of 10K+ attendees from the ground up 
  • Experience in flipping large-scale physical events into virtual experiences 
  • Exceptional project management skills with experience gaining team consensus and driving deliverables (PMP certified a plus) 
  • Proven track record of delivering highly effective event experiences to technical audience across geographies, languages and time zones in both virtual and physical mediums 
  • Experience in designing and delivering hybrid events (coexisting mix of physical and virtual experiences) 
  • Proficiency in event management tools such as Bizzabo, ZoomWebinars, GoToWebinar, etc
  • Creative, innovative, resourceful, with a get-it-done mentality 
  • Thrives in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage workload to strict deadlines, and operate effectively under remote management 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate with third parties and partners
