Senior Manager – Digital Marketing

As a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, you will lead a team of digital marketers responsible for the customer journey including Web & App personalization and customization, CRM and lifecycle. You will partner with Product, Content, Sales, and Media teams to quickly test and iterate on the customer journey, and create visibility across the organization into key learnings and insights.
Successful candidates will have a passion for cannabis culture, and a track record of success leading small, scrappy teams to accomplish big goals.
  • Develop and implement a Web & App personalization, CRM, and Lifecyle strategy.
  • Develop, implement, and track improvements to the customer journey including onboarding, customization, personalization, retention and winback.
  • Develop channel runbooks informing how Leafly maintains operational excellence in marketing communications including copy and asset review, voice and brand guidelines, QA, and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively at the intersection of marketing, product, content, and sales to develop features and promotions that enrich the customer experience.
  • Develop, track, measure, and report KPIs on the customer journey including funnel metrics, customer satisfaction with the web & app experience, and feature changes.
  • Own the test plan for on-site, in app, and lifecycle messages and experiences to optimize for retention and conversion.
  • Be a Leafly product expert and evangelist and a champion for the user in all decisions
  • Support/ regional and global product launches and tentpole events with lifecycle strategies that drive conversion.
Requirements, Qualifications and Competencies:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising, ecommerce, or related fields
  • 5+ years people management experience.
  • Track record of high performance in fast-paced tech, startup or e-commerce environments.
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in chaos and resolve ambiguity with creative problem solving
  • Strong analytical experience turning consumer and market data/insights into impactful strategies
  • Ability to easily transition from big picture strategic thinking to detailed execution planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, including the ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Track record of prioritizing work streams and programs effectively with competing priorities
  • Very strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Must be a collaborative team-player
  • Sense of humor – ability to stay cool under pressure
  • Flexible, willing to help when and where needed
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
