Job Description
About this role: The Senior Manager of Employee Communications will help lead the creation and implementation of strategic employee communications strategies for the Product & Platform Organization. The ideal candidate will partner with senior leaders and global business partners to foster inspiring, compelling, and connected communications. He/she will advise on narratives, messaging and communications strategies with the goal of driving employee engagement, amplifying our engineering talent brand, and enhancing pride and advocacy. We're looking for an amazing writer and storyteller, cross-platform communicator – a true strategic business partner who understands how to translate business priorities into engaging, inspiring content and experiences!
What you will do:
Develop and implement innovative & compelling digital communications strategies to support our Product & Platform BU priorities and business outcomes.
Identify and execute comms opportunities to articulate our unique employee value proposition and engineering talent brand.
Leverage our global communications platform, messaging architecture and best practices to build and scale compelling and cohesive employee experiences to drive dialog, shape culture, and build community.
Help develop and drive integrated communications strategy to support M&As, future or work, thought leadership by partnering closely with other comms functions, as well as business and functional partners.
Advise leaders and business partners on messaging, approach and execution strategy to help them achieve desired business outcomes.
Produce compelling and relevant omni-channel stories rooted in our company purpose, priorities and values.
Leverage listening tools, analyze insights, and produce communications reports that inform ongoing communication strategies.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Organizational Change, or equivalent career experience.
Minimum of 10 years proven success guiding strategy and execution of global integrated communications campaigns that inform and delight employees.
Ability and confidence to influence senior leaders on strategy, messaging, and engagement opportunities to drive pride, loyalty and advocacy.
Passion for creative, visual storytelling to capture hearts and minds by translating business strategies into simple yet compelling narratives.
Strong business acumen and change management background.
Fantastic project management and interpersonal skills.
Resourcefulness and self-motivation to independently prioritize shifting workloads in a high growth, ever changing environment.
Proven leadership capability and ability to work cross-functionally.

Work Personas
Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.
Required in Office
A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
