About You:

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will own our central marketing automation system and related API and software integrations. You will be a key part of the newly formed Revenue Operations team, offering a unique opportunity to fuse the Sales and Marketing Operations teams together through integrated processes and systems while creating a seamless user experience. In this unique opportunity, you’ll also get the opportunity to manage a team to support you. 

Every day will bring new challenges and require cross-functional collaboration to solve problems like; working on the selection and integration of MarTech solutions across existing platforms, building out customer acquisition playbooks, tracking and analyzing campaign effectiveness and velocity, building API connections through related software, and much more. Despite Convoy’s explosive growth and success, our marketing tech stack and automation capabilities are just getting started, which provides a unique opportunity to get in at the ground floor and help make a noticeable positive impact on the business.

You should be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. A proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is strongly preferred.

You will take ownership of:

  • Leading the roadmap of systems and tools for marketing resource management
  • Actively participating in overall marketing operations, lead management, and campaign execution to drive digital demand generation and paid media campaigns
  • Working as an extension of the demand gen team to drive lead management projects to increase funnel velocity and opportunity conversion
  • Owning end-to-end project management of key initiatives which includes the development of lead management plans, requirements documentation, progress tracking, troubleshoot issues across the entire lead life cycle
  • Leading and communicating efficiently with internal cross-functional teams 
  • Acting as a connection between the technology platforms and their capabilities, and the business needs and marketing goals, to advise on the best approach and execute on company strategies
  • Owning the processes for centralized MarTech budget management from funds allocation to investment reallocation
  • Aggregating and analyzing campaign metrics to assess performance, leading to optimization & channel investment recommendations.
  • Leading the setup of the campaign tracking process, including creation and implementation of conversion pixels from platforms like AdWords, Facebook and Doubleclick through Google Tag Manager.

You have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing analytics, business analysis, budget management, or comparable analytics position
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, marketing/sales operations, and process improvements for high-technology companies or products.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Tableau, and Marketing Automation platforms (e.g. Marketo or Pardot).
  • Expertise in balancing the lead and account life cycle end-to-end, from leads, Marketing Qualified Leads, through all the stages leading to Opportunities and Pipeline.
  • Experience communicating (verbal and written) effectively with both business and technical teams
  • Proficient in Excel and data visualization.
  • Experience with demand generation, account-based marketing, and paid media
  • Excellent command of Google Apps suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) and experience using project management applications / tools) preferred
  • Marketo and/or Pardot certification preferred
