We are adding a Senior Marketing Manager, Events to our brilliant Marketing team! 

The Senior Marketing Manager - Events is an action-oriented marketing manager, with an extensive background in B2B event management, whose primary responsibility is to develop the Nintex global event strategy, plan and manage the effective execution of 3rd party sponsored and Nintex-hosted events, primarily in the USA. They will create, implement and manage event campaigns that engage customers, drive leads, opportunities and brand awareness, and meet ROI targets. This individual will work closely with the global marketing and regional sales teams on the planning and execution of 3rd party and Nintex hosted events. The Senior Marketing Manager - Events will analyze event performance and return on investment and continually evolve the format and mix of events to optimize return on investment. They will also play a lead role in the strategy, planning and execution of the USA-based Nintex ProcessFest event, our annual multi-day, training-focused event for Nintex clients and partners. The ideal candidate must be action-oriented, agile, have excellent organizational and time management skills and be comfortable driving both strategy and execution.

We would like for you to:

Develop the Nintex global event strategy and plan: Using your B2B event management expertise and experience, develop the global Nintex event strategy, plan and budget. Collaborate with Field Marketing and regional sales teams to ensure the plan is aligned with regional and corporate priorities and will contribute to the achievement of regional lead, opp and pipeline targets. Once developed, manage and modify the global event plan as required to ensure delivery against ROI targets and execution of events within budget.

Plan and manage the execution of 3rd party sponsored events:  Manage external resources and collaborate with Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Global Demand Gen, Corporate Communications and regional sales teams to plan and manage the execution of Nintex’s participation at 3rd party sponsored events. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and leverage global and regional marketing resources to develop and execute event plans that increase the quality and quantity of leads and opportunities generated from our presence at 3rd party sponsored events. This will include contract negotiation, vendor liaison, identifying and securing speakers and managing event logistics including speaker needs, collateral, giveaways, booth configuration, staffing requirements and staff briefings etc.

Plan and manage the execution of Nintex and Partner-hosted events: Collaborate with Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications and the regional sales teams to plan and execute Nintex and Partner-hosted events that meet customer engagement, lead, opp & pipeline targets. Specifically, play a lead role in the strategy, planning and execution of the USA-based Nintex ProcessFest event, our annual multi-day, training focused event for Nintex clients and partners.

Measure and Optimize Event Performance: Identify and measure key success metrics for individual events and the event portfolio overall. Analyze event performance and identify improvements and recommendations to enhance event ROI, always looking for ways to improve event management efficiency and effectiveness, , including testing innovative approaches to existing events and exploration and testing of new event formats.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders: The Senior Marketing Manager - Events will have strong leadership and collaboration skills and will need to coordinate effectively with many internal and external stakeholders including regional sales teams, Corporate Communications, Field Marketing, Global Demand Gen and Product Marketing as well as external partners and manage external vendors and contractors.

To be successful we think you need:

  • BS/BA in Marketing, or similar degree
  • CMP certification
  • Strong business acumen and budget management capability
  • 8-10 years’ experience planning and managing B2B Events
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • High energy, fast-paced
  • Experience using Salesforce & Marketo would be helpful
