Job Description

The Senior Partner Marketing Manager owns Partner Marketing for PayScale’s strategic partnerships.

Role and Responsibility:

  • Develop and own channel strategy for partnerships.
  • Own marketing strategy and execution for PayScale’s strategic partnerships, including partner go-to-market and co-marketing campaigns, industry events, etc.
  • Work closely with Business Development to develop strategic partnerships.
  • Primary marketing contact for partners.
  • Develop positioning and messaging for partnerships.
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop and deliver partner enablement.
  • Work with Sales and CS to develop messaging and assets to support and strengthen partnership value prop and enable the PayScale team.
  • Work with Demand Generation, Client Marketing, and Content teams to develop partner focused content and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Support enablement activities in educating internal and external audiences regarding partner news.
  • Deliver presentations, joint white papers and webinars, Q&A, and conduct partner and client research in an articulated and authentic format.

  • Quickly understands complex concepts and has the ability to zero in on and effectively communicate key takeaways.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: BS/BA required in the fields of business, marketing or related area. MBA is a plus.
  • EXPERIENCE: 7-10 years in software or B2B technology in a marketing related discipline. 5+ years in Channel or Partner Marketing.
  • EXPERIENCE: successfully managing multiple partners of various sizes, crafting and executing co-marketing strategies and plans, and leading partner enablement efforts.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively leading a cross-functional team consisting of both internal and external partners.
  • Writing skills are essential. This role builds content in the form of co-branded messaging, datasheets, blog posts, Powerpoint presentations, video scripts, etc.
  • Ability to 100% own initiatives. A motivated self-starter who can operate and execute with a sense of urgency, discipline and focus.
