Smartsheet is seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to introduce and drive adoption of Smartsheet offerings in the Federal Government space. This marketing professional will own product marketing strategy as well as drive effective cross-team execution so that Smartsheet can achieve aggressive growth goals. The successful candidate for this role will be a strategic thinker and an excellent storyteller with a strong customer focus who also understands how to build content and go-to-market plans to effectively acquire customers and and drive active usage.
This position is located in Smartsheet's headquarters in Bellevue, WA.
Responsibilities:

• Define product use cases for our customers in Government 
• Analyze how customers use Smartsheet today and the future of work execution
• Research competitor products and strategies
• Build compelling content that resonated with Government audiences
• Structure and strategize where, when, and how we market to these audiences
• Socialize marketing initiatives with executives, marketing leaders, and sales leaders
• Drive and execute these strategies to fruition
• Define buyer personas and determine market messages to tell the Smartsheet story through the eyes of our customers
• Partner with product management and lead product content in a such a way so that new capabilities introduced is well-known and valued by our target audiences
• Create core content easily assimilated by sales, communications, and demand generation teams to tell a consistent and compelling story

Requirements:

• Demonstrated strategic and critical thinker
• Motivated by ambiguity and ability to create
• Experience in marketing technical and software solutions
• Proven ability to work effectively across marketing, sales, product management, and engineering organizations
• 5+ years of work in a related field
• B.A./B.S. Degree required, M.B.A. preferred
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
