As the Senior Strategic Content Marketing Manager for our Industrial business, you will inspire and educate our customers on why Unity is the platform that can and will enable success for their desired outcome, with a key focus on Automotive & Transportation and AEC.

You will fuel global marketing and sales efforts by developing a rich pipeline of demos, white papers, case studies with a strong emphasis on the technical aspects of the products/solutions and specific use cases. You’ll partner with Product Marketing and Brand and Design to develop content strategy, define the content roadmap for each business area, and create and fulfill content marketing plans in pursuit of specific business objectives around awareness, product adoption, and revenue. You will report to the Head of Product Marketing for Industrial, and partner closely with Product Management, Business Development, Brand & Design, and Marketing to deliver innovative and high impact business solutions to our developers and advertisers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Drive content marketing strategy and planning: you will develop a rich, continuous pipeline of technical marketing content to engage potential and existing customers, including presentations, demos, webinars, sell sheets, case studies, white papers, battlecards and more
  • Lead and/or manage content creation for web and events
  • Work hand-in-hand with Sr. Product Marketing Managers for Automotive and AEC to create content in support of overall go-to-market strategy and plans
  • Partner with other Product Marketing leads to extract key features and value propositions in other products and services and ensure they carry through as part of the full Unity platform/ecosystem story
  • Own and gather customer insight in order to understand what content resonates in the market; engage customers to learn how they have successfully and/or innovatively used our products and solutions
  • Fuel the ECommerce, Customer Lifecycle, Inside Sales, and Business Development teams with powerful sales materials and training that drive demand and sales and measure the ROI of content marketing efforts to inform what works and what doesn’t
  • Translate complex technical topics into simple marketing concepts for diverse technical and non-technical audiences, turning deep and raw technical information into clear, easily-consumable, high-impact content that brings the value prop home
  • Help train sales teams on technical presentations and demos
  • Write and edit copy for product marketing, product descriptions, web pages, email, blog posts, and other marketing projects

Requirements

  • Experience in successfully marketing complex, technical B2B products or services with demonstrated ability to create technical content that performs
  • Ability to rapidly grasp complex technical details and potential use cases for technology/innovation across a wide spectrum of industry/technology domains
  • Ability to develop deep customer empathy and product expertise: understand the entire Unity ecosystem and target customer base
  • Superlative command of the English language, with the ability to adapt to brand style and tone while shaping technical content to align with overall marketing narrative and storytelling
  • Ability to build thoughtful, strategic, actionable plans and drive to completion
  • Self-motivated, self-starter who is always thinking a step ahead
  • A master of time management, who can prioritize, tune out the noise, and drive to execution with laser focus on what matters most in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environment

Bonus points

  • Background in marketing creative or technical software applications in the automotive or AEC industries
  • Deep understanding of design tools and processes
  • Awareness of the latest trends in design, engineering, and sales/marketing
