THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring an SEO MANAGER to our CONTENT MARKETING team!
The Gympass Content Marketing team is seeking an SEO manager to help us increase the reach and impact of our content for both B2B and B2C audiences. We need someone who is not afraid to dive deep into our content strategy, serving as the primary ideator of content topics using their in-depth knowledge of keyword research, competitive analysis, and SEO best practices. We have high expectations for our organic search channel, and we need someone who is willing to evolve our SEO discipline to help us achieve our goals. The SEO Manager will directly support our Content Marketing team, but will also work closely with our MarTech, Website, and Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate has strong B2B and B2C experience, is highly analytical, and has a strong content instinct.
YOUR IMPACT

  • Support the development and implementation of our global SEO strategy, with the intent of increasing organic search traffic to our website and delivering qualified leads.
  • Leverage keyword research (both short-tail and long-tail), competitive analyses, and persona insights to support our content pillar and spokes strategy, and identify opportunities for internal linking.
  • Develop and execute a global link-building strategy to increase overall domain authority.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize our content to maximize SERP rankings and increase conversions.
  • Collaborate with our paid media team to align keyword targeting strategies and content creation, and drive overall search efficiencies.
  • Evolve our content architecture, including taxonomy, navigation, and information architecture, to better meet user intent and improve the UX within our content ecosystem.
  • Support our Technical SEO manager in identifying content-based SEO deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of a localized content strategy.
  • Monitor algorithm updates and emerging trends in search to inform content planning and optimization.
  • Monitor the performance of our SEO strategies, including traffic, conversions, page engagement metrics, and SERP rankings, and report key to stakeholders.
  • Expand our search strategies into adjacent channels, such as YouTube and other emerging and established social platforms.


WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and executing content-based SEO strategies, preferably at a digital product company serving B2B and B2C customers.
  • Strong analytical skills for robust data-driven decision-making. A natural affinity for numbers, analytics, and the detailed workings of complex systems. Extensive experience with Google Analytics and other data insight platforms.
  • Proven track record in implementing SEO strategies that create a sustained, material increase in high-quality organic traffic using white-hat techniques.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, or similar tools.
  • Experience developing SEO strategies for global websites serving customers in multiple countries and languages.
  • Experience working in high-growth, highly dynamic environments with a healthy level of autonomy.
  • A strong collaborator and communicator that has experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of content marketers, product marketers, engineers, channel marketers, data analysts, and CRO specialists.
  • Understanding of technical SEO best practices.

In New York, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Washington, the annual base salary range for this role is USD $ 85,120 - $106,400 . The base salary range for other locations may vary. Actual base salary will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications and/or other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role may also be eligible to participate in either our annual bonus plan or a sales incentive plan, and our performance-based stock option program.
