As the Senior B2C Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you are responsible for finding ways to engage consumers throughout their RealSelf journey from new customer acquisition to activation/retention to loyalty, resulting in increased brand advocacy and conversion. 

You will build a deep understanding of who the customer is and their lifecycle stages and craft a messaging strategy that will help guide them along their journey. You will work cross-functionally with various partners throughout the organization to drive customer growth and retention, boosting customer lifetime value and ultimately growing the RealSelf brand. You will ensure that plans are customer-centric and insight-driven in order to hit performance goals (traffic, contacts/bookings, other engagement, and revenue) month after month.


In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Marketing leadership to set the vision of RealSelf’s lifecycle marketing strategy for consumers, inclusive of defining stages and personas that will ultimately drive segmentation and personalization opportunities.
  • Partner with Research & Product teams to analyze data to define consumer journey, build customer personas, and establish segmentation to leverage in lifecycle marketing.
  • Develop briefs focused on driving the full lifecycle (awareness, acquisition, engagement, retention/CRM) and partner with multiple internal teams including content, creative, analytics, business leaders, product & tech to execute lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Uncover opportunities for marketing campaign optimization across the consumer lifecycle.
  • Plan and design lifecycle marketing tests to uncover opportunities for driving increased campaign engagement and conversion.
  • Partner with Product/Tech to find ways to tap into personalization at the most impactful moments of the consumer journey to build stronger connections and engagement.
  • Establish OKRs and scorecards (e.g., volume of customers by segments, gains/losses by time period, etc.) for the growth of Lifecycle marketing; adjust and evolve programs (new tests & concepts and existing) to meet these goals.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in the beauty & wellness, medical aesthetics, media, marketing tech industries to spark new ideas and leverage trends.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of B2C or D2C lifecycle experience delivering highly successful acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and retention strategies with a leading tech, eCommerce, or high-growth D2C consumer brand
  • Solid experience developing consumer journeys, gap analysis, personas, and segmentation strategies
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Added bonus if you have worked on a portfolio of brands and led lifecycle strategy around multi-brand integration
  • Experience with strategy development (briefs, narratives, business cases, presentations) and planning
  • Track record of developing, managing, and launching new programs, categories, and markets partnering with product/tech, research/insights, and marketing teams
  • The proven ability to develop, execute, and communicate a long-term strategic vision, while also balancing immediate priorities and opportunities in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment with multiple internal decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written (narrative docs, marketing briefs, presentations) and verbal communication skills; ability to share ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Analytical and able to derive meaning from data through testing and optimization


Travel: Occasional travel (


Work Environment:

RealSelf employees work from 26 states in the United States; while we have offices in Seattle, Washington we are a remote-first company. 

This fully remote role is open to candidates in most states. Working remotely from a primary residence outside the United States is currently not permitted for this role.
