DESCRIPTION

At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, partners act as their own boss. They can build their own schedule and choose from different types of opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while making great earnings. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced systems, allowing partners to sign in, grab an offer for a time, check out a map of the location, and more.

We are seeking a US Marketing Manager for Amazon Flex. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing acquisition and retention marketing strategies and programs, working to test and scale across media channels.

In this role, you will:
· Own top-level business goals for the US.
· Drive traffic, conversion, and retention for Amazon Flex.
· Test into and scale within new and existing acquisition and retention channels, and iterate based on performance metrics.
· Write business plans/proposals to champion new channel testing with business and finance partners.
· Create repeatable processes to support feature and market launches, allowing for regional localization.
· Maintain and refine scalable, comparable methods of measurement and performance tracking for campaigns.
· Earn trust from internal and external partners, manage multiple projects, and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS required
· 8+ years developing and managing marketing programs and/or channel programs and demonstrated success in creating professional, compelling strategies
· Strong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicles
· Highly developed and polished written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA or Master’s degree in marketing or product management
· Excel at cross-group collaboration, problem solving and has a bias for action
· Strong project management skills, creative thinking, and analytical ability
· Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
· Ability to identify and solve complex, ambiguous business problems
· Proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously while using sound business judgement
· Comfortable with ambiguity
