Job Description

The Sr. Manager, Content Marketing, reporting to Director of Content, is responsible for creating and editing content that engages targeted business audiences in the health and benefits industry while building an inspiring brand story, and in creating compelling webinar content. This person should be an experienced content creator and strategist who ensures messages across audiences are consistent and brand standards are applied in all marketing content channel and types. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. 

A day in the life…

Sales Content Strategy o Partner closely with Director of Content and sales team stakeholders to build, socialize and execute a quarterly content strategy that aligns with marketing objectives and company goals, while maintaining brand voice, style and tone across all channels

o Partner with the strategic / enterprise sales team to build and execute on a highly customized Account Based Marketing playbook for key accounts, updating quarterly while being flexible and agile as opportunities arise

o Partner with the mid-market sales team to build and execute a quarterly plan to support a 1:many sales approach

o Research, develop, edit and customize all sales marketing content, such as blogs, video scripts, webinar presentations, social media posts and “snackable” assets

o Partner with teammates in Corporate Marketing to coordinate and maximize multi-use content cadence and impact where appropriate

o Support Demand Generation team with content syndication strategies, including content distribution in various formats and across multiple channels to best reach our target audiences
Webinar Marketing Content

o Partner with Director of Content to support webinar cadence with strategic input and tactical execution o Work with executives across the company on slideware and talking points to support webinars, both self-hosted and in partnership with publications

o Partner with key stakeholders in Product and Clinical to support content development

o Project manage webinars in partnership with Demand Marketing to ensure flawless execution, including scheduling prep meetings with all stakeholders

o Partner with Demand Marketing to report results and key learnings 

Strategic Collaboration

o Support corporate content campaigns as needed, in partnership with the Director of Content

o Establish, maintain and follow editorial governance through style guides, creative briefs, campaign overviews, messaging framework templates and other internal tools

o Support the maintenance of integrated marketing calendar to maintain real-time view of marketing activities, keep cross-functional teams aligned, and drive consistent communication of top priorities

o Work with marketing and sales teams to analyze content performance and apply those insights to improve existing content and test better content ideas for the future

o Provide consultation to UX and design, sales, customer partnership and marketing managers on written communications to maintain consistent brand standards across audiences 

o Manage creative agency resources and project execution as needed

Qualifications

What we are looking for…

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism or related field

• 6+ years’ experience in online writing and content marketing

• Expert wordsmith, storyteller and content strategist who can showcase our product’s value in a compelling way

• Excellent teamwork, communication, organizational and project management skills

• Experience working with content management systems and managing agency or freelance resources

• Editorial mindset with the ability to research, learn about a wide range of topics and propose creative ideas, all while operating on firm deadlines

• Experience working with high-performing teams and against tight deadlines while supporting the needs of and communicating with multiple stakeholders

• Ability to analyze and present creative content that is based on data and insights, ties to sales performance and influences senior leadership
