Our Marketing Channels team includes paid, earned, and owned channels overall management, including in-house media planning and buying. Collectively, our channels are responsible for fueling the business by driving customer acquisition and engagement and adopting key initiatives (e.g., new category or services launches, driving event registration) through our channels via campaigns & programs that we manage.


About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Paid Marketing Manager to join the team and help us achieve our next level of global growth. In this management role, you will drive end-to-end paid channels strategies, including existing channels and new channel testing, integration, and expansion. You will manage paid marketing specialists, lead integrated campaign planning, including brand to performance-based campaigns, and have hands-on management (media buying) of a multi-million dollar annual spend.  

The Senior Paid Marketing Manager is always searching for new ways to drive customer and revenue growth through paid channels. You will lead the development and expansion of new and existing paid marketing programs (e.g., Marketing as a Service concept) that we leverage for consumers, providers, and industry partners. All are key to driving business growth.

A successful candidate must be able to work both at the strategic level and be an expert at the tactical level to ensure existing dollars are managed effectively. You live for numbers and quantifiable results, always seeking to drive more - the buck stops with you. This candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing funnel and possess excellent project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage overall paid marketing spend of $3M+ per year through multiple paid programs and across various campaigns, which run concurrently to meet business goals and stay within budget.
  • Develop and evolve paid marketing strategies and execution plans, including lead acquisition, other performance-oriented, and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Continually (daily, weekly+) analyze performance across channels, including SEM, Social, Display, etc., to recommend and implement program and campaign optimizations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by testing, experimentation, and implementing new creative, A/B, and multivariate test design and optimization.
  • Measure and report outperformance across channels against KPIs to the organization, representing your team
  • Work with cross-functional teams - including creative, product, sales, community, analytics - to improve creative, landing pages, and paid customer acquisition funnels and conversion.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party agencies and channel representatives.
  • Personally identify, evaluate, and test new channels
  • Mentor and develop 1-2 performance marketing team members.


About you:

  • 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience at a manager or lead level, either in-house or agency. 
  • Ownership of a 7 figure + annual digital media budget ($200K+/monthly), including the responsibility of reporting and communicating out results with leadership teams
  • Paid channels experience including paid search, display, social. Influencer, affiliates, podcasts, and other channels are a plus.
  • Experience in consumer (B2C) lead-generation industry, preferred. 
  • Expertise in Ad Management tools like Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.
  • Experience with conversion optimization through landing page development, testing, and ad/funnel optimization.
  • Full funnel, demand-to-brand marketing experience with an emphasis on performance marketing.
  • Quant-based marketer with superior analytic skills with a relentless optimization mindset to measure the impact and effectiveness of paid marketing spend and make continual improvements. Optimization goes hand in hand with spending.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver work on a deadline.
  • Knowledge of the beauty industry is a plus.


Travel: Occasional travel (


Work Environment:

This fully remote role is open to candidates in most U.S. states. Working remotely from a primary residence outside the United States is currently not permitted.
