You: As the Sr. Product Marketing Specialist, you will be a key enabler for all facets of our GTM strategy as it pertains to the Apptio portfolio of products. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, you will support product messaging, sales and partner enablement, launch, demand generation programs and post-sale customer adoption. You should have the ability to simplify complex topics, excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence and drive initiatives across cross-functional teams. What We Want You to Do: 

• Support the marketing of the Apptio product portfolio
• Assist in ensuring that all marketing and sales tools adhere to the go-to-market strategy
• Connect with customers to gather feedback on Apptio’s value proposition
• Collaborate with teams such as Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and Sales to build effective messaging and tools
• Track and report out GTM business results, key insights and strategy to key partners

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant fields of study such as computer science
• 2+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Marketing, or Product Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA preferred
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Understanding of key business challenges within IT
• Team player with proven communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic and high growth environment.
• Experience with financial applications and concepts is a plus
• Excellent written and communication skills and ability to communicate complex concepts in a crisp and simple way
