We are growing and looking for a Head of Channel Marketing to join our Marketing team! In this role, you will develop a plan to identify and enable strategic, financial and tech partnerships to generate business results as part of Lighter Capital’s growing partner ecosystem. In addition, you’ll work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing teams to enable impactful co-marketing relationships defining differentiated tiers of partners. You will be responsible for collaborating with our partners’ marketing counterparts to drive the marketing strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of joint go-to-market activities. You will also cultivate strong relationships with our partners’ marketing teams to develop joint marketing plans and programs that positively impact the customer journey, joint bundled offerings, leads, pipeline, and revenue. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and manage annual partner marketing plans and budget in alignment with our growth and revenue objectives across multiple dimensions including awareness, education, demand generation, programs, partner readiness and enablement
• Build and manage a high-execution partner marketing team
• Develop and drive our tiered partner strategy with variable models of engagement, programmatic support models, pass programs (where relevant), etc.
• Lead the execution of joint marketing campaigns and tactics including internal and external events, demand generation programs via Account Based Marketing, and communications that drive and tie back to revenue goals 
• Define and deliver marketing tools, programs and communications to assist partners in generating leads, for selling solutions, and closing deals -- ultimately driving revenue with, through and for attainment of joint KPIs and Lighter Capital’s targets and goals
• Lead marketing initiatives including collateral production and approvals, customer stories, press releases, videos, social media materials and more to drive both thought leadership and demand
• Analyze and track the success of all partner-facing programs, as well as define and implement metrics to demonstrate return on investment against the channel marketing budget 
• Support and execute partner events where Lighter Capital is a sponsor or joint sponsor
  

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years experience in partner/channel multichannel and/or integrated marketing working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in B2B, financial or high tech industries
• Proven leader of high performing teams with a track record of prioritizing and delivering results within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
• Excellent program management and interpersonal skills and a phenomenal track record of working across sales, marketing and product teams
• Ability to energize a team and engage them toward action and results
• Creativity to build innovative programs that engage partners and optimize marketing dollars
• Ability to communicate effectiveness of partner marketing initiatives and provide recommendations for revenue growth
• Executive-level communication skills with proven ability to positively position a company and sell opportunities to the partner community
• Proven record of supporting business development and sales teams to meet or exceed partner pipeline and revenue targets
• Team player with proven cross-functional project management skills
