Application Program Manager
Facebook’s Enterprise Collaboration team is responsible for the productivity of Facebook Employees. The team is seeking an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking Application Program Manager to identify, design and implement efficient and effective solutions. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to develop and facilitate sound program management practices in support of the Collaboration Applications team. This includes managing project portfolios, providing project management support to application managers, and helping manage a growing team of contingent support engineers. You will be responsible for organizing product roadmaps, providing summary reporting to key stakeholders, and improving the efficiency of various processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex programs, strategic and tactical execution of business processes, a good understanding of project management in critical environments, and strong working knowledge of SaaS collaboration applications such as G Suite, Office 365, and Quip. This is a full-time position.
Application Program Manager Responsibilities
Build programs that ensure consistency across Enterprise Collaboration through the development and implementation of consistent business processes.
Quantify pain points around operational issues and prioritize resources in areas that will deliver the greatest impact.
Review operational and business issues and help determine if process improvements are required.
Collaborate with our collaboration application managers to drive product adoption.
Ensure standardization of support workflows and processes and work with service support organizations to ensure compliance with our core KPIs and SLAs.
Work cross functionally with stakeholders to review and improve business processes.
Manage L&D programs across the portfolio of applications.
Define requirements and specifications for support tooling, reporting and infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Project/Program Management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech operations space.
3+ years of experience in support or operations with proven experience in process improvement and optimization.
Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Google G suite, Quip, Dropbox and other Project Management tools in an enterprise environment.
Experience leading global projects and hands-on project management of multiple concurrent projects.
Experience in launching support programs from inception to delivery.
Experience in implementing training and quality audit programs.
Experience working in a large cross-functional environment with many different stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Info Systems or Data Science.
Experience with hands-on involvement solving technical problems.
3+ years of experience with at least two of the following collaboration tools: Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace (G suite), Quip, Workplace, Slack, Dropbox or any other productivity SaaS tools in an enterprise environment.
