Announced as a new division of Take-Two Interactive Software, the label publishes Kerbal Space Program, The Outer Worlds, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, Disintegration, and more. Private Division is headquartered in New York City with offices in Seattle, Munich, Singapore, and Las Vegas.

Private Division publishes the Kerbal Space Program franchise, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey from Panache Digital Games, The Outer Worlds from Obsidian Entertainment, Disintegration from V1 Interactive, and OlliOlli World from Roll7, with future unannounced projects in development with Moon Studios, Die Gute Fabrik, Evening Star, Piccolo Studio, Yellow Brick Games, and other esteemed independent developers. Private Division publishes the physical retail edition of Hades from Supergiant Games on PlayStation® and Xbox consoles. Private Division continues to build its internal studio capacity, with Roll7 and Intercept Games as internal developers for the Label. Private Division has offices in New York City, Seattle, Las Vegas, Munich, and Singapore. 
 

THE CHALLENGE: 
 
Private Division is on the search for an Associate Community Manager to join the Community Team onsite in our Seattle office, with hybrid work-from-home available. Possessing a passion and understanding for video games and their Communities, the Associate Community Manager will help shape Kerbal Space Program Social Channels and help grow our established Community. 

WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ON: 

  • Creating and moderating a Discord for Kerbal Space Program
  • Approve assets to be used across various social platforms as well as request any assets for events or game updates
  • Interacting with our Community across our social platforms
  • Create and manage a content calendar for social and Discord 
  • Measure and analyze social performance to drive marketing campaigns and increase engagement

WHAT YOU BRING: 

  • A strong understanding of all social media platforms
  • An eye for detail, with a strong Community writing tone
  • A solid understanding of the video game industry and game communities – either personally or professionally 
  • A knowledge of Discord bots and how to manage and setup various moderation bots 
  • Strong time management and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time 

GREAT TO HAVE: 
 

  • A self-starter attitude 
  • Able to cultivate and manage relationships with both internal and external teams 
  • An understanding of PowerPoint and Project Management tools 
  • An understanding of video game content capture 
  • An Undergraduate degree

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $50,000 and $70,000 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.  Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 14 paid holidays per calendar year, are eligible to earn a minimum of 15 days of vacation leave per year (subject to proration based on start date during the calendar year) and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
