About this key role:

Ideoclick is looking for a Chief of Staff (CoS) to work directly with our CEO.

As the CoS, you will play an important role supporting the CEO and the executive team as Ideoclick scales in an increasingly competitive and rapidly changing space.  You will work closely with our CEO on everything from strategy and planning, to special projects and board prep. This position is a combination of internal strategy consultant working on special projects, operations expert, and corporate development strategist helping the CEO execute against business-critical initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on Ideoclick’s productivity, driving strategy initiatives, overseeing key projects, and communicating objectives between departments. This key role impacts all areas of the business - you will partner across all levels of the organization and work closely with senior leadership. You will have the ability to directly impact and improve decisions and processes, and your work will increase the speed and efficiency of execution throughout Ideoclick.

Primary Responsibilities:
 

  • Organization, Prioritization, and Execution -- you will help the CEO see around corners and provide leverage to make sure that the most important and impactful work gets prioritized
  • Provide leverage and extension for the CEO, by sitting in with and for him in meetings and work sessions, helping to drive follow up and decisions, and ensure that key deliverables are completed as expected and on time
  • Work with the CEO to identify, define, manage, and drive ad hoc special projects and initiatives that are cross-functional and strategic to the company
  • Build a thorough understanding of all areas of the company - become an expert across all functions 
  • Be a strong project and stakeholder manager with the ability to execute projects of varying urgency and scope with minimal guidance
  • Drive executive-level operations - strategy and KPI planning, QBRs, and prep for Board meetings
  • Identify opportunities to increase leadership team and company effectiveness. Recommend and drive solutions
  • Facilitate effective decision-making throughout the organization
  • Develop analytical frameworks, data models, and relevant insights to support prioritization, scoping, and decision making

Key skills and experience:
 

  • 5+ years’ experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, or similar
  • Experience successfully organizing, managing, and delivering cross-functional projects
  • Strategic skills required to think long term and the results orientation to focus on execution through process, speed, and rigor
  • Strong communications skills, as well as, change management and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to influence and guide at the executive-level 
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Experience structuring and executing complex analyses to support strategy in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; experience in financial analysis and modeling
  • Excellent influencer and relationship builder
  • Ability to summarize and present complex topics effectively to a wide audience
  • Entrepreneurial with a growth mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred qualifications:
 

  • Startup experience
  • MBA
  • Bachelors specifically in: Marketing, Business, Statistics, Communications, Advertising
