Job Description

What We Do: The Data Ops Support Team is responsible for ensuring the quality and the accuracy of the data loaded into the MarketPay database. We assist the Survey Data Managers with various tasks including quality checking survey files, processing job descriptions, participant lists and collaborating with other teams on special projects.

What You Do:

Day-in-the-Life: As a Data Operations Support Specialist, a typical day may include the following…

  • Auditing survey data and providing quality feedback on issues found in the data.
  • Processing complex files using Excel.
  • Collaborating with team members and Data Managers on projects.

First Year in Role:

  • Month 3: While receiving direction from your teammates, you've successfully audited several survey conversions and communicated any issues to Data Managers.
  • Month 6: At six months, you've completely ramped up your knowledge of survey publishers and can handle auditing any survey conversion.
  • Month 12: You're now fully trained. You can handle the most complex survey audits with no supervision. Also, you've been through one Survey Participation cycle and are fully trained on survey job descriptions.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • You acquired a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • You have experience with relational databases, HRIS and/or compensation surveys.

Skills:

  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, with the ability work in concert with others to accomplish objectives.
  • Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly proactive and able to work with little supervision.

Tools:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Python experience a plus
