About the team:

The Business Systems & Productivity team manages and drives improvements across Foursquare’s Business Systems, Business Intelligence, and Go-To-Market (GTM) processes within Foursquare’s Revenue Operations function, whose remit is to drive the operational efficiency and productivity of our GTM teams to accelerate their ability to hit their goals. Our Revenue Operations function is made up of Sales/CS/Partner Operations, Business Systems, Data Warehouse, Deal Desk, GTM Compensation, and Sales Development teams.

About our Director of Business Systems & Productivity role:

Foursquare is looking for a  passionate leader who can drive productivity across all GTM teams through (1) improving existing processes, (2) better tooling, and (3) improved accuracy of data. This individual will oversee the improvement of processes and systems that support our GTM team. The right candidate will be a hands-on leader who will be naturally effective at prioritizing and directing the key process and systems initiatives that will drive the most impact while also being willing to roll up their sleeves and lead process design activities themselves. 

The Business Systems & Productivity function is a growing team and the right leader will be a talent magnet with a clear vision of how to build the necessary technical and business skillsets in order to drive highly efficient and productive Sales and CS teams. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Revenue Operations and will partner heavily with Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales & CS, and other Foursquare Leaders to positively impact our aggressive growth plans in 2022 and beyond. 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Hiring and developing top talent, which will help the Business Systems & Productivity team achieve its near-term goals and long-term potential
  • Working closely with Revenue Leaders and cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Product to achieve growth goals
  • Owning and setting the vision for the function, fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision making, and prioritizing an achievable roadmap for each of its teams
  • Keeping customer, lead, revenue, and other corporate data (product usage signals, customer signals like CSAT, etc.) aligned and accurate across the organization
  • Analyzing and focusing on the productivity of Sales, Customer Success, and Client Services teams and envisioning a tooling and systems roadmap for continuous improvement
  • Mapping out and delivering on improvements to Foursquare’s quote-to-cash processes
  • Ensuring Foursquare’s technology infrastructure scales to keep pace with growth
  • Partnering closely with Enablement to ensure that processes and tools are adopted effectively and that maximum productivity can be achieved through training and coaching activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with 5+ years experience as a Sales/Revenue Operations and/or Business Systems Leader in an Enterprise Software/SaaS company
  • Proven ability to lead business process improvement initiatives and/or transformation efforts of significant scope
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com with expertise in leading Salesforce improvement efforts
  • Fluency in other systems and sales tools, including CPQ, Prospecting and data tools (Salesloft, ZoomInfo/RingLead, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, D&B), Sales Intelligence tools (Clari and Gong),  and other tools that drive Sales/CS productivity (Docusign, etc.)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) systems/applications and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement sales processes and infrastructure
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Marketing
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator, with the ability to influence Executives and other Leaders through the earning of credibility based on domain expertise and a track record of getting things done
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects on tight timelines
  • Analytical in nature, leveraging data to drive influence and strategy
