The Role

  • Amperity is seeking a Director, Engagement Management, with a proven track record of leading high-performance teams focused on delivering complex technical implementations for enterprise-level customers.

Responsibilities 

  • Architect a repeatable & scalable delivery process around Professional Services that can be leveraged by the Customer Engagement team.
  • Define best practices for the engagement management function.
  • Coach and develop a talented team of Engagement Managers to best represent our company to the customers we service.
  • Define and manage resource utilization, optimization, and planning.
  • Measure performance and drive delivery outcomes for customers.
  • Be an advocate of your client base across the organization – work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure the Amperity service is built to be well-aligned with client needs and goals.
  • Represent Amperity in working with high profile customers. 
  • Recruit top talent, which will continuously raise the quality bar of the Engagement Management team.

About You

  • Extensive background in professional services, technical consulting, or solution delivery.
  • Proven track record of building and managing a high-performance professional services team.
  • Experience architecting complex technical implementations, end-to-end.
  • Experience with managing stakeholders across various levels and functions at top tier enterprise companies.
  • History working in a fast-paced, swiftly-changing startup environment.
  • Deep passion for diving into customer data to solve real customer problems.
  • Creative problem solving abilities. You will face a wide variety of problems, which rarely have a well-defined, obvious problem.
  • Adaptable. You are able and willing to roll-up your sleeves and get into the tactics when necessary to effectively service your team and our customers.
  • Inspirational leader. You are able to pick your team up and motivate them to continue to drive toward the vision.
