About You: 

We are a rapidly growing startup, in this position you will effectively be the first leader focused on security. As such, you will be directly responsible for establishing the company's security strategy and direction.

You will identify major risk factors, for both compliance and operations for Logixboard and provide technical leadership. You will devise security policies to reduce risk, lead auditing and compliance initiatives.

This leadership role covers a broad range of focus areas including infrastructure security, application security, data security and data privacy. Much of the security work is focused on our production environment but the work you do will also help support security in Logixboard's corporate environment.

You Will: 

  • Manage all communication between security leaders from different partner organizations 
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely information in response to audits and inquiries; creating a proactive culture to align activities and measurement with internal policy and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the management of all information security tools, contracts, documentation, standards, and processes to ensure an operating environment that is sound, sustainable, and compliant with company policies and requirements
  • Establishing Logixboard's capability to monitor threats and vulnerabilities as well as detect, investigate, respond to, and recover from incidents
  • Own all documentation, process, and training surrounding Logixboard's disaster recovery abilities.
  • Provide strong leadership in the recruitment, training and development of top-quality InfoSec talent, ensuring the high level of performance and productivity

What we are looking for: 

  • 5+ years of enterprise in information security or relevant technology experience
  • 2+ years experience leading a team of InfoSec/cybersecurity professionals
  • Experience in leading teams to build systems, practices and policies that comply with important security standards, such as SOC2, ISO27001 e.g
  • You are a hands on leader with the ability to dive into technical details and act as a technical subject matter expert in an array of domains
  • Experience securing and navigating cloud platforms, such as AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Experience reviewing potential vendors with regards to security {systems} and compliance with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc) and conducting audits of existing vendors
  • Worked in a DevOps/SRE and Security (DevSecOps) focused environment
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC and/or CISA certification is strongly preferred
