  • Expedia Group Retail Partnerships Team is hiring for an experienced online partner marketing professional with a polished business sense and strong analytical skills to lead and develop a high-performance team of affiliate partnerships managers for all our key brands including Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo.

     

    In this role, you will interact with global and regional stakeholders to develop the partner marketing strategy and run strategic initiatives in the region.

     

    Reporting to the Vice President, Retail Partnerships, as Director, Retail Partnerships, Americas, you will make a direct and substantial impact on Expedia Group’s P&L.

     

    What You Bring:

     

    Creative problem-solving and a collaborative approach. Proven success in commercial, technical, and team leadership skills to deliver against the company's objectives.

    Strong commercial acumen is a requirement as this role requires negotiation with major partners across the region. Furthermore, based on the EG strategy, the candidate will define success with the team and support them to achieve that ambition.

     

    You are entrepreneurial and a problem solver, and demonstrate integrity and accountability. A natural leader that builds a work culture of mutual trust.

    You have strong interpersonal skills, and are able to interact with all disciplines and levels within an organisation. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and actively seek data to drive sound decision-making.

     

    What You Will Do:

    • Ensure delivery of business objectives and financial targets

    • Business strategy execution and optimisation of online partnership marketing in the Americas

    • Establish and lead long-term, successful strategic partnerships in all verticals that provide significant opportunity for growth

    • Contribute to scope new online partner marketing technologies, vendor partnerships, and internal resources required to optimise program performance

    • Lead ongoing, day-to-day performance of the Retail Partners and influence across other functions (including Marketing, Operations, Technology & Site Optimization) to resolve issues as they arise

    • Manage business development efforts against new and existing online partnerships including strategy development, establishing deal terms, driving negotiating strategies as well as renegotiation of existing partnerships as required

    • Collaborate with product and regional teams to shape marketing and merchandising campaigns and landing page attributes to improve conversion

     

    Who You Are:

    • Skilled team leader with online marketing experience

    • Consistent track record in developing teams in a large company

    • A strong leader with excellent negotiation and analytical skills

    • Very comfortable with data analysis, and able to illustrate data driven decision making

    • Positive approach to working with partners and always looking for an outcome where everybody wins

    • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
