Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proposals are concise, well-written, compliant with requirements, and positioned appropriately as per the Company's value proposition.
  • Working with sales team on the execution of specific sales strategies.
  • Identify product gaps from the details provided in the RFPs, RFIs and RFQs.
  • Review and approve all proposals (scope, effort and price estimates) created by the team.
  • Attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements, identify the potential opportunities and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.
  • Leading the discovery process, conducting business process analysis and gap analysis.
  • Work with legal to finalize proposals, SoWs from a legal perspective.
  • Identifying competitor activity and recommend possible strategic alliances where this will provide advantage to the organization.
  • Architect the right solution that perfectly fits the customer requirements.
  • Providing functional solutions and author SOWs.
  • Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.
  • To assume responsibility for running a bid team, where relevant.
  • Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery.
  • Able to show and discuss a range of previous customer solution designs.
  • Create generic product demos for prospects.
  • Work with the product management and engineering team to create customized PoCs.
  • Updating the sales team on new business trends for creating new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrating prototypes of the solutions with particular emphasis on the business and competitive value of the solution.
  • Staying up-to-date on technology trends in the customer’s vertical of the industry.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in designing & implementing Solutions, bid management, making Proposals, RFI/RFP/RFQ/RFX in an IT setup.
  • Engineering graduate & MBA.
  • Previous experience of requirements gathering, design and solution building and the ability to replicate this in a commercial setting.
  • Hands on experience in providing cloud based software solutions with experience in revenue generation and new client acquisition.
  • Stakeholder engagement ability in order to provide best solutions by understanding the needs.
  • Knowledge of the workings of a partner eco-system for delivering solutions.
  •  Excellent written & oral communication skills with hands on experience in team management.
  • Experience in the contract management and sourcing solution delivery will be an added advantage.
