Who we're looking for:

Rover has seen tremendous growth and success over our 6-year history. As our company prepares for the next phase of our growth, our CEO is searching for a talented Executive Assistant to join his team. As the CEO’s EA you will provide direct support, maintain a one on one working relationship, be the primary point of contact for internal and external matters which pertain to the CEO as well as some support for the CFO. The Executive Assistant must be detail oriented, results driven, have exceptional organizational skills, be able to maintain a balance among multiple priorities, with strong written and verbal communication skills. In this role you will get to learn an incredible amount about our business, work with amazing employees across the organization and above all help us further Rover’s mission as we continue to grow in the coming years.

Your qualifications:

  • Past experience supporting C-level executives in an administrative capacity
  • Since you will have access to a large amount of information, we are looking for someone with a strong track record of trust and confidentiality.
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Proven experience in creating reports and spreadsheets.
  • Proven skills, knowledge base, and judgment necessary for independent decision making.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be flexible to last minute changes/ directions.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Google Suite products is a plus.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO’s and CFO's calendar of appointments, expense reports, travel plans, itineraries, and travel meetings.
  • Communicates directly, and on behalf of the CEO and CFO, with Board members, and their executive assistants.
  • Provides smooth communication between the internal departments, showing leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with Senior Leadership.
  • Working closely with the CEO and CFO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities,
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs, follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Assist in conference room setup/breakdown and food setup for large meetings.
  • Phone system issues, ensure phones are being answered by staff, reception, and covering the front desk for breaks.
  • Assist other executives with travel arrangements, FedEx, mailings, meeting schedules as needed.
  • Provide support when needed to the different departments regarding event planning.
