Blue Nile is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate who will protect company assets from safety risks, loss and shrinkage. The Loss Prevention Associate will assist in the implementation and oversight creating a visible deterrent to loss and safety situations and support management with conflict resolution. The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of integrity, honesty and professionalism in carrying out the safety of others.

Responsibilities:

• Control and manage access to building; check ID and issue temporary badges
• Open and/or Close building
• Enforce company security policies and practices
• Track and monitor safety/security activities and investigations
• Monitor CCTV as needed or requested
• Monitor and respond to any safety concerns
• Provide and participate in security, loss prevention and safety awareness training
• Investigate worker injuries and incident investigations, and report to management
• Investigate lost/missing/pilfered packages
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications: 

• Organizational skills and ability to perform detail oriented work
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent observational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to function in a dynamic environment subject to changes in schedules and priorities
• Ability to react to stressful situations in a professional and calm manner

Additional Abilities:

• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and other software applications
• Experience with CCTV, burglar and fire alarm systems
