Job Overview:

Customers are King! Each and every day the Customer Success team works to ensure that are clients are maximizing the value they are receiving from PitchBook. Onboarding, training, support, business development and renewals are handled by the Customer Success team. We believe in doing whatever it takes to make our customers successful and the CS team drives that success every day.

PitchBook seeks a leader to serve as a Manager, Customer Onboarding for our Customer Success team. You will be tasked with creating a process to ensure exceptional onboarding experiences for our clients and setting users of the PitchBook platform up for immediate success. The goal is to ensure long term customer adoption by successfully implementing the critical early phase of a customer lifecycle. You will lead a team of Onboarding Specialists that will be dedicated to surfacing the many different benefits of PitchBook access within each of our client types. Successful onboarding will lead to PitchBook being an integral part of our clients' growing businesses for years to come.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Has an appreciation for the PE / VC marketplace and the ability to learn, comprehend, and demonstrate why and how each of our client types engages with our product and our data.
  • Makes it their mission to provide the best onboarding experience for our customers
  • Oversee and develop our Customer Onboarding Specialists to support a Customer's journey from beginning to more advanced platform use based on key business questions
  • Refine playbooks and strategies to ensure key power users and business owners are properly onboarded
  • Collaborate with Customer Success leadership to build and execute components of the client/user onboarding plan
  • Thinks critically on how the client can drive the most long-term value out of the product;
  • Confirm and refine with initial use cases and lead platform acceleration/expansion of user base
  • Develop educational content for use with onboarding, the Customer Help Center, and on-going customer education
  • Goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction with business reviews and continual product education;

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Has experience with Salesforce or other CRMs to forecast sales and maintain updated records of client interactions;
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail;
  • Has at least four (4) years of account management or customer success experience;
  • Has at least two (2) years as a manager with direct reports
  • Has a BA / BS degree.
