Office Manager

About the job:

Are you good at managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced environment? If so, we want you to join the team as our Office Manager. Along with keeping the company train on the rails, you will participate in all aspects of the business. You will be leading the strategy for office growth, welcoming new team members and guest, planning of company events, and owning facilities .

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Keep our facilities running smoothly and efficiently – manage the office and perform daily

walkthroughs to ensure that our space is functional, safe, comfortable and clean

  • Be the first impression for our employees, guests, clients and candidates- you are inviting, accommodating and customer service oriented
  • Own all day-to-day operations onsite from 9am-5pm everyday
  • Partner with and oversee the onsite service providers/vendors – cleaning, food and beverage, technical maintenance, building management, packages and mail
  • Manage ordering, stocking and inventory for office supplies and equipment
  • Be the resident fun captain – plan regular (and surprise!) team treats, events and lunches Manage facilities projects and initiatives - be the champion of company and team-wide standards and processes at your site
  • Manage the seating chart and overall space planning
  • Ensure emergency preparedness plans are current, communicated and actively in use in the office
  • Ensure that our teams and our space is compliant with all relevant health and safety codes
  • Manage security items and access to the space
  • Set, oversee and stay within the budget allocations for your site(s)
  • Assist with projects to support the team as needed

Qualifications:

  • You like to get things done, and you’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up and dive in
  • professional, and extremely well organized
  • You are a creative problem solver, and cool under pressure
  • Ability to be a strong collaborator and leader
  • You have incredible time-management and prioritization skills
  • Comfortable communicating with senior level executives
  • Have incredible attention to detail
  • An excellent communicator – both written and verbal
  • 1- 2 years experience as an office manager or EA
