Blue Nile is seeking an entry level Retail Operations Coordinator to join our Customer Experience team with a focus on our showroom network. We are looking for an individual who is obsessed with providing excellent customer service and interested in Omni-channel operational processes. This individual will work cross-functionally with other internal teams to cultivate relationships, communicate business needs and provide responsive, detail-oriented internal customer service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with natural curiosity who enjoys solving challenging problems through thoughtful analysis. This individual will be part of a committed, fast-paced team that focuses on growth, expansion and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to showroom teams by partnering cross-functionally to resolve difficult and complex customer-facing and internal situations.
• Assist sales teams in ensuring a 100% perfect order rate.
• Assist sales teams in managing showroom appointments and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ensure smooth running of showroom operations including inventory management, showroom maintenance and in-store support.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Blue Nile products, practices, policies and procedures and look for places we can automate and simplify.
• Act as the showroom subject matter expert and provide guidance to various internal teams and stakeholders.
• Partner with Marketing and Creative teams to create content focused on customer experience value props and ensure ongoing support across marketing channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with external mall marketing teams.
• Adopt the test and learn mentality to pilot improvements to customer experience in showrooms – standardize feedback and success criteria for pilot programs.
• Plan and execute showroom events to tie in with wider Blue Nile marketing/merchandising strategy.
• Coordinate internal team events to create a fun, engaging workplace. Promote a culture of teamwork and partnership.
• Provide assistance and troubleshooting for various customer experience projects.
• Ensure clear communication on company projects – both from Customer Experience and other teams - to the wider CS team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
• Analytical ability
• Positive attitude and high energy level
• High degree of professionalism, integrity and customer obsession
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills; able to multi-task and prioritize competing projects
• Capable as working independently as well as a team
• Ability to communicate in cross-cultural environments
