New Engen is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to develop, manage, and grow strategic partnerships that drive incremental customers, revenue, product capabilities, and customer value in the market. As the first hire dedicated to corporate development, you will be expected to build and execute against the strategy for growing New Engen’s partner ecosystem. You will be expected to develop a robust understanding of our product and work cross-functionally to build offerings that meet the needs of our customers. In addition, you will assist the senior leadership team in developing and executing corporate strategies to build upon and drive New Engen’s current and future growth.
Key Responsibilities:

 Partnerships

  • Develop strategies to build, grow, and scale New Engen’s partner ecosystem (e.g. marketing technology vendors, data and analytics technologies, and other service providers)
  • Prospect, negotiate, and implement strategic partnerships that drive incremental customers, revenue, product capabilities, and customer value in the market
  • Work cross-functionally to build offerings that enhance New Engen’s current capabilities (including business cases, marketing, sales, enablement, and deployment plans)
  • Partner with sales and performance marketing team to accelerate new customer opportunities through New Engen’s partner ecosystem
  • Promote the use of partnerships among New Engen’s customers where opportunities are relevant
  • Drive partnership activities from inception to execution, holding internal and external stakeholders accountable for commitments, milestones, and deliverables to realize outcomes and results

 Other Corporate Development Activities

  • Working along the accounting and finance team, create financial models and forecasts for the senior leadership team and board of directors
  • Participate in strategy development and execution across multiple domains, partnering across various teams and levels of leadership
  • Perform build vs. buy evaluations related to new and/or existing technologies that complement or enhance New Engen’s offerings and capabilities
  • Other ad hoc projects as assigned

 Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years' experience in strategic partnerships roles; marketing industry experience preferred
  • Proven, measurable track record of building and maintaining partner relationships from the inception through execution
  • Strong business judgement and deal structuring skills
  • Team player that can work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial approach - a self-starter able to build capabilities from scratch, see the work through execution, and ruthlessly prioritize in an ever changing/evolving landscape
  • Executive-level written and communication skills
  • Network of relationships in the marketing technology industry preferred
