Service Now’s Global Cloud Services (GCS) team is the foundation of all ServiceNow products and aspires to deliver always available infrastructure services around the world. GCS owns all facets of the design-deploy-operate model across ServiceNow’s global infrastructure and this role will help define, coordinate, and deliver some of the most complex business and engineering problems at scale.
Role:
As a Senior Director, Strategic Business Operations, you will be a key member of a team with a passion for driving scale, effectiveness, standardization, and productivity using strategic leadership, data-driven problem solving, and process improvement methodologies.
What you get to do in this role:
- Identify unstructured problems and drive operational, business strategies, and solutions across both the GCS organization and partner organizations.
- Lead executive-level programs and initiatives, including communications plans and timelines.
- Model business initiatives with deep insights into customer needs, costs, industry trends, and roadmap alignment.
- Improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency, and success
- Define and own the operating cadence of the business.
- Help GCS staff stay organized by providing key insights and accountability.
- Evangelize ServiceNow and GSC across both global and local tech community by building relationships with industry contemporaries, partners, and customers.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 10+ years’ work experience in global infrastructures at scale.
- 15+ years of related experience in management consulting, operations management, or similar position at a fast-growing technology company.
- Experience in strategic project planning and implementation including business requirement generation and process analysis & design.
- Experience in transformational process initiatives.
- Strong analytical background and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority for productive collaboration across multiple organizations.
- Detail-oriented and data-driven problem solver who can make decisions under pressure.
- Experience in building business cases and analyzing financial metrics in technology industry.
- MBA or equivalent degree.
Preferred skills and experience:
- PMP Certified
- Certified Scrum Professional
- Six-Sigma Black belt
