THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Senior Director, Website Experience to join our Marketing team in the US!
You will be responsible for the evolution of Gympass' website, reporting to the VP of Marketing Operations and leading all efforts to make the website a great experience.
We are looking for an experienced leader to guide our website strategy and roadmap, which will include everything from a complete website rebuild to ongoing experimentation and optimization. You will be in charge of the roadmap, design, tests, data, and execution, as well as leading UX designers, branding, analytics, martech, and developers to deliver on it.
Furthermore, you will be the champion of Gympass's experimentation culture, establishing an internal experimentation center of excellence and an insight-driven organization that harnesses the power of data. As an experimentation expert, you will collaborate with channel owners to prioritize areas for improvement, develop testing plans, and put your hypotheses to the test.
Our offices are in NYC, Houston, and Los Angeles. This person can work from any office or remotely based in New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Missouri, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, New Hampshire, Texas, Utah, California, Georgia, Illinois, or Washington.
YOUR IMPACT

  • Own the entire development and delivery process, from roadmap to project development to execution to experimentation and optimization, in collaboration with UX, martech, analytics, and development teams.
  • Serve as a thought leader by articulating the vision and strategy for the website experience.
  • Drive Gympass conversion rate optimization by optimizing journeys and taking action on key metrics and KPIs through continuous experience improvements and testing.
  • Own website key metric measurement (traffic, MQLs, sign ups, conversions), analyzing how visitors interact with our digital properties using data synthesis, heat mapping, and other techniques
  • Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to develop our website experience for product launches, content, and campaigns.
  • To aid in optimization, propose and size experiment opportunities, create A/B testing/experimentation plans, and evaluate test results.


WHO YOU ARE

  • A marketing professional with 8+ years of digital marketing and website marketing experience
  • Experience with a wide range of marketing website technologies (e.g.: Amplitude, Tag Manager, Optimizely)
  • Experience managing a business-to-business website is required
  • Management of one or more website rebuilding efforts
  • Experimentation and practical experience
  • Strong leadership abilities, as well as the ability to work in a matrixed organization and build relationships with people from various areas of the organization, are required
  • Capability to think broadly about overall business issues from both an "inside-out" and an "outside-in-client-centric" standpoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet business goals in a hyper-growth environment, and have a keen eye for detail
  • Critical thinking entails the ability to break down large problems into smaller, more specific questions and make recommendations to non-analytical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and data rigor skills, as well as the ability to work with numbers, KPIs, and optimize conversion rates while thinking strategically are required.
  • Quick learner - capable of rapidly capturing context and analyzing new aspects of the business
  • Working experience in multinational corporations and with website localization
