Role Description

As the Senior Global Marketing Technology Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of Marketing Operations & Technology initiatives across the company. This vital role on the Dropbox’s Marketing Operations & Technology team is responsible for managing the MarTech transformation initiatives, roadmap, deployments, and adoption. The ideal candidate will have a growth hacker and product owner mindset to evolve our MarTech capabilities to the next level that drive marketing results. This will require a re-assessment/gap analysis of our systems, processes, data assets, SLAs, enablement programs and governance that will impact marketing, sales, and performance teams. In tight cross-functional interlocks with partners in Marketing, Sales, GTM Operations, Data Engineering, and IT you will contribute to the formation of a center-of-excellence operations practice that powers our go-to-market engine and support the next phase of business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing, GTM Ops, and IT to map our current Marketing Technology landscape, identify gaps and opportunities
  • Activate multi-year marketing technology roadmap; Create best-in-class marketing technology infrastructure and integration structure that supports and drives forward our Marketing team’s vision
  • Partner across Marketing, Engineering, Product, Analytics/Data Science, and other partner teams to execute a technology strategy & architecture that is flexible, scalable, mobile, secure and provides a consistent and personalized customer experience
  • Develop best-in-class product management guidelines for all net new integration, product and feature enhancement builds
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define requirements, drive adoption, lead user acceptance testing, and address business and system issues.
  • Establish a Center-of-Excellence Technology Council to tap into thought leadership throughout the organization, stay current on changing needs, and explore new use cases with existing solutions
  • Proactively research new vendors, technologies, and industry best practices that will inform our long-term marketing and technology transformation; MarTech procurement and vendor management
  • Be a trusted and strategic Marketing Technology business partner/subject matter expert (SME) to Marketers and the leadership team
  • Be a proactive problem solver and have good communication as well as project management skills to relay your findings and solutions across technical and non technical audiences
  • Serve as power-user and change agent of our marketing systems, provide training and enabling of marketers
  • Collaborate with fellow Marketing Operations & Technology team members on ad hoc analysis, brainstorming sessions, and projects - one team, one mission.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a marketing operations role, with a strong background in marketing technology and marketing automation using cloud technologies and CRM platforms; Adobe Marketo Engage Certified Expert or Solutions Architect a plus
  • Knowledge of SFDC; object relationships, data architecture, expert campaign management, workflows and third party integrations
  • Experience building complex automation rules and workflows in Marketo or similar MAP/CRM supporting B2B Saas companies
  • Experience deploying and migrating MAP/CRM platforms including third party integrations such as LeanData, Demandbase, Integrate, ZoomInfo, Zoom Webinars, etc
  • Experience with CDP, Multi-touch Attribution, Data Modeling, and ABM Technologies
  • Understands privacy, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, etc.
  • Passionate about leveraging technology and data to aid your day-to-day execution; Proven ability to break down and diagnose issues, then identify and rapidly deploy fixes
  • Strong leadership skills and creative thinking to identify and implement process improvements and develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to be a team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others, and able to share knowledge and coach others; Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
